What this site is

LeBron Salary (lebronsalary.com) is an independent statistics and reference site dedicated to one subject: the salary of LeBron James. When LeBron signed a reported 2-year, $8 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers in July 2026 — one of the most surprising pay cuts in sports history — we built this site to answer every version of the question people were asking: what does that deal pay per month, per game, per second, and where does it sit in the context of his 23-year career?

The site covers:

  • The 2026 76ers deal — the full structure of the 2-year, $8 million contract with its second-year player option.
  • Salary breakdowns — the same contract converted into monthly, per-game, and per-second figures, before and after estimated taxes.
  • Career contract history — all eleven of LeBron's NBA contracts from the 2003 rookie scale deal to the Philadelphia discount, with career earnings estimated at $585–590 million in on-court salary.

What this site is not

This is an unofficial, fan-made reference site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LeBron James, Klutch Sports, the Philadelphia 76ers, the NBA, or any team, league, or sponsor mentioned on these pages. All player names, team names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here for identification and commentary only.

Nothing on this site is financial, tax, or legal advice. The figures are journalistic estimates for entertainment and informational purposes.

How we calculate the numbers

Contract values come from widely reported figures at the time of signing. Derived numbers follow simple, transparent math — for example, a $4 million average annual salary divided by 12 months is $333,333 per month, and divided by 82 games is $48,780 per game. Where estimates are involved (tax rates, take-home pay, endorsement income), we state the assumptions on the page: a 37% federal marginal rate, Pennsylvania's 3.07% income tax, Philadelphia's city wage tax, jock taxes for road games, 10% league escrow, and 2–4% agent fees.

We aim to be conservative and honest about uncertainty. When a number is an estimate, we say so, and we publish ranges rather than false precision.

Corrections

Salary reporting moves fast and figures get revised. If you spot an error — a wrong contract value, a miscalculation, an outdated figure — we want to fix it. Reach us any time at contact@lebronsalary.com or through the contact page.
